Lookouts II
It is truly a unique experience to share the wilderness with its inhabitants. When we venture into the Rocky Mountains, we are guests of mountain lions, bears, elk, moose, deer and hundreds of other wild animals. Crossing Cameron Pass one January morning we spotted a herd (perhaps 30 – 40) big horn sheep laying in a meadow. After twenty minutes of photo “opps” the herd headed back into the rocky high country, while these two lookouts provided security.
